关于“每次*min/mg、每日*次、一共*天”这一类句型的表达方式

可以先说“每次*min/mg”，再说“每日*次”，比如：

Patients received this drug for 30 min twice daily for 21 days.

* 这里的30 min是指每次30 min，不是每天一共30 min。

The patients received rifaximin 400 mg three times daily for 10 days.

* 这里的400 mg是指每次的用量，一天一共服用三次。

也可以先说“每日*次”，再说“每次*min/mg”，比如：

Patients were given moxibustion once every other day, 10 minutes each time, for a total of 20 days.

Suspensions were shaken twice daily for one hour each for 6 days.

* for one hour each time可以简化为for one hour each。

Cells were washed three times for 5 min each with PBS at room temperature

* with PBS这类成分并不需要紧跟washed，比如：Extraction was performed three times using 80% ethanol.

关于“最多”翻译一例

中文：11月和12月感染病例最多

英文：Most cases of infection were observed in November and December.

分析：如果这样表达，容易理解成大多数感染病例发生在11月、12月，即超过50%的感染病例集中在这两个月。然而，实际情况可能是分布比较平均，只是这两个月的病例数比其他月略多，但并未占到50%以上。

所以，可以改成如下表达会更好一点：

The number of cases of infection was highest in November and December.

“易...”怎么表达？

可以考虑使用easily、frequently和often这些词。

比如“易误诊”，可以表达成：This disease is easily / frequently / often misdiagnosed.

也可以说：This disease is prone to misdiagnosis.

但一般不写成This disease is easy to misdiagnose，语法上没问题，但意思上不对劲，好像我们要误诊一样；更不要写成This disease is easy to be misdiagnosed，连语法都有问题。

另外，之前我们也说过，表达“A疾病与B疾病易混淆”可以考虑以下方式：

Disease A and disease B are often confused (mixed up).

Disease A is frequently confused (mixed up) with disease B.

Disease A is easily confused (mixed up) with disease B.
