Topical therapies are the main interest of this journal that seeks submissions of original papers and systematic reviews in pharmacological aspects of the skin and skin physiology. Modulation of the epidermis (e.g. epidermal barrier function), exogenous influences on skin functions, studies of skin physiology (if performed with non-invasive instruments), and the study of the regulatory pathways involved in skin penetration of topical formulations through in vivo and in vitro models are invited.
