Restoration Ecology publishes subscription articles and Open Access articles. Subscription articles have no charges for the first 8 typeset pages, but additional pages are billed at $150 per page. An article with 8 typeset pages typically includes up to 6400 words and five total figures and tables. Open Access articles have a single Article Publication Charge (APC).

If the Open Access option is selected, submissions will be subject to an APC if accepted and published in the journal: $3,300 USD / £2,200 GBP / €2,750 EUR
