Core Charges
The publication of 25 pages per year per first and/or corresponding author who is member of the Society for European Lepidopterology (SEL) is generously supported by the Society for European Lepidopterology (SEL). If a longer article is accepted, the authors will need to cover the Article Processing Charges (APCs) for the additional pages at the price of € 25 per page.
After the expiration of the yearly quota, authors may opt to either cover the APCs of € 25 per page with a minimum price per article set up at € 100 (applicable for papers of less than 4 published pages), or wait with their publication until the beginning of the next year.
Alternatively, authors may opt to cover the Article Processing Charges before the expiration of the yearly quota, especially if these fees are supported by institutions or grants. This will free up publication fee waivers, helping the journal to publish additional valuable research.
First authors who are not members of SEL will be required to cover the full cost of page charges of € 25 per page with a minimum price per article set up at € 100 (applicable for papers of less than 4 published pages).
Please note again that the above prices do not include VAT (Value Added Tax).
Dryad Repository Submissions
This journal is integrated with the Dryad Digital Repository to make data publication simple and easy for authors. There is a $150 Data Publishing Charge for Dryad submissions, payable via the Dryad website.
期刊简介：Nota Lepidopterologica《鳞翅目昆虫志》（年刊）. Nota Lepidopterologica is the peer-reviewed journal of the Societas Europaea Lepidopterologica (SEL) published by Pensoft. The journal was founded in 1977 and publishes original research papers on taxonomy, morphology/anatomy, phylogenetics, biogeography, ecology, behaviour, conservation, and natural history of Lepidoptera, but also on any other aspects of lepidopterology. The journal is devoted mostly but not exclusively to Palaearctic Lepidoptera.
