Since 2008, the Physical Society of Japan has been offering an open access option, OPEN SELECT, for articles published in the Journal of the Physical Society of Japan (JPSJ). Any author whose article has been published or accepted for publication in JPSJ can, by paying a one-time fee, have their article freely accessible on the JPSJ website to all readers without cost or subscription.
OPEN SELECT fee is as follows:
Authors in Japan (incl. 10% tax)
Full Papers, Letters, Short Notes：165,000 JPY
Special Topics：55,000 JPY
Authors Outside of Japan
Full Papers, Letters, Short Notes：150,000 JPY
