If you choose to publish open access in this journal you may be asked to pay an Article Publishing Charge (APC). You may be able to publish your article at no cost to yourself or with a reduced APC if your institution or research funder has an open access agreement or membership with Taylor & Francis.

If you choose not to publish Open Access in this journal, there is no Article Publishing Charge (APC).
Publication Charges
All accepted articles will incur a publication charge plus VAT or other local taxes where applicable in your country.
For submissions before October 1st, 2024, the charge will be US $200 per paper, regardless of the page count. For submissions after October 1st, 2024, the charge will be based on article type and page count on the final published version (not manuscript).
Research Articles: $200 for articles of 10 pages or less. For articles exeeding 10 pages, an additional $80 per page will be charged.
Brief Reports: $200 for reports of 5 pages or less. For reports exceeding 5 pages, an additional $80 per page will be charged.
Starting from January 1st, 2025, the publication charge will be processed by Chinese Institute of Engineers, not Taylor & Francis.
Colour figures will be reproduced in colour in your online article free of charge. If it is necessary for the figures to be reproduced in colour in the print version, a charge will apply.
Charges for colour figures in print are £300 per figure ($400 US Dollars; $500 Australian Dollars; €350). For more than 4 colour figures, figures 5 and above will be charged at £50 per figure ($75 US Dollars; $100 Australian Dollars; €65). Depending on your location, these charges may be subject to local taxes.
