As of January, 2012, all articles accepted and published in Evolutionary Applications are fully Open Access: immediately free to read, download, and share.
Submissions will be subject to an APC if accepted and published in the journal: $4,320 USD / £2,870 GBP / €3,310 EUR
This journal waives APCs for the following article types: Commentary, Meeting Reports.

It publishes papers that utilize concepts from evolutionary biology to address biological questions of health, social and economic relevance.
