European Thyroid Journal became an open-access journal from the start of 2022. All new submissions made from the 29th March 2021 will be published on this basis.
Expenses such as peer review, journal production, online hosting and archiving are covered by an Article Publication Charge (APC). The APC only becomes payable upon acceptance of a manuscript and needs to be paid for an article to proceed to publication. All articles will be published under the CC-BY Open Access Licence unless otherwise requested.
The APC for manuscripts is €2000*.
期刊简介：European Thyroid Journal《欧洲甲状腺期刊》（双月刊）. The European Thyroid Journal is an open-access journal, publishing papers reporting original research in basic, translational and clinical thyroidology. Original contributions cover all aspects of the field, from molecular and cellular biology to immunology and biochemistry, from physiology to pathology, and from pediatric to adult thyroid diseases with a special focus on thyroid cancer. Readers also benefit from reviews by noted experts, which highlight especially active areas of current research. The journal will further publish formal guidelines in the field, produced and endorsed by the European Thyroid Association.
