Article Processing Charge (APC)
Production of Entomologia Generalis is expensive and authors will be charged an article processing fee of € 790 per accepted article (plus taxes, where applicable).
Open access papers carry no extra APC besides the OA fee.
OA Fee (optional)
Entomologia Generalis - Journal of general and applied entomology offers optional open access publication to its authors. All Open Access papers are published under the Creative Commons CC-BY NC license, which allows free distribution, but prohibits commercial exploitation. Authors retain the copyright to their works.
Open Access (CC-BY-NC or CC-BY license) publication of a standard article (optional) costs EUR 1690,- (plus taxes, where applicable). The Open Access license fee includes both the APC (as described) and any color publishing fee (as described below).
OA-fees are invoiced and payable before a paper is published online.
Color Publishing Fee
Color publishing for non-OA-papers is charged at € 34.90 per published color page (plus taxes, where applicable).
Other Article Processing Fees
Language editing fee (where required by the editors): € 12 per manuscript page (plus taxes, where applicable)
