Endocrine Connections is an open-access publication. Expenses such as peer review, journal production, online hosting and archiving are covered by an Article Publishing Charge (APC). The APC only becomes payable upon acceptance of a manuscript and needs to be paid for an article to proceed to publication. All articles will be published under the CC-BY Open Access Licence unless otherwise requested.
The APC for manuscripts is £2100 (as of 1 Jan 2024)*.

The journal publishes basic, translational and clinical research and reviews in all areas of endocrinology, including papers that deal with non-classical tissues as source or targets of hormones and endocrine papers that have relevance to endocrine-related and intersecting disciplines and the wider biomedical community.
