If you choose to publish open access in this journal you may be asked to pay an Article Publishing Charge (APC). You may be able to publish your article at no cost to yourself or with a reduced APC if your institution or research funder has an open access agreement or membership with Taylor & Francis.
Article Publishing Charges：USD 2630/ EUR 2520/ GBP 2100（另：Editorial不收费）
If you choose not to publish open access in this journal, there is no APC.
Page Charges
A page charge of ZAR175 per page (for African contributors – excl. VAT, where applicable) or USD15 (for other contributors) is levied by NISC. Authors who do not receive subsidies from their institutions may apply to the Editor to have the page charges waived.

期刊简介：Southern African Linguistics and Applied Language Studies《南非语言学与应用语言研究》（季刊）. Southern African Linguistics and Applied Language Studies publishes articles on a wide range of linguistic topics and acts as a forum for research into ALL the languages of southern Africa, including English and Afrikaans. Original contributions are welcomed on any of the core areas of linguistics, both theoretical (e.g. syntax, phonology, semantics) and applied (e.g. sociolinguistic topics, language teaching, language policy). Review articles, short research reports and book reviews are also welcomed. Articles in languages other than English are accompanied by an extended English summary.
