This journal offers authors the option of an Open Access publication of their research work:
Articles are in open access for subscribers as well as for the general public with a possibility of reuse. A fee for open access publication must be paid by or on behalf of the authors (e.g. by their funding agencies or institutions).
For this journal, the cost of publication in open access amounts to 1500 € HT.
Color artwork
Please make sure that artwork files are in an acceptable format (TIFF (or JPEG), EPS (or PDF), or MS Office files) and with the correct resolution. If, together with your accepted article, you submit usable color figures then Elsevier will ensure, at no additional charge, that these figures will appear in color on the Web (e.g., ScienceDirect and other sites). Color figures on print will cost € 600 for the first illustration and € 100 for additional figure.
