However, all Equinox journals offer the GOLD option, whereby, subject to the payment of a fee and following acceptance, authors can have their paper published Open Access.
Open Access Charge
£1,250.00 – £1,750 per article (articles with colour images and/or larger formats are charged the higher fee and papers of longer than average extent compared to the usual for a particular journal may attract a higher rate). Equinox book authors, series editors, board members are eligible for a discount. Charges for articles to be published under the CC-BY option are 25% higher. Figures do not include VAT which will be charged where appropriate.

Founded in 1994 as Forensic Linguistics, the journal changed to its present title in 2003 to reflect a broadening of academic coverage and readership.
