DPM bridges the gap between academic disciplines and stakeholders, including policy makers, practitioners, representatives of the civil society and local communities. It particularly welcomes contributions which emphasise multi-disciplinary and multi-actor perspectives on innovative topics related to disaster risk reduction and management. The journal encourages the contribution of junior scholars, authors from less affluent countries and non-native English speakers.
