Environmental Chemistry and Ecotoxicology (缩写ENCECO)主要聚焦化学品在全球环境中的传输规律及其在生态系统中的毒性机制，生物体中的生物利用度和生物蓄积性，食物链中的生物放大，以及生态系统分析中的新技术和新方法、跨学科生态毒理学信息的处理方法等。期刊主要研究方向包括：环境化学、生态毒理学、环境修复、风险评估等。

期刊已被ESCI、Scopus、Ei Compendex、BIOSIS Previews、Biological Abstracts、CAS、DOAJ、GEOBASE等数据库收录。在《2025年中国科学院文献情报中心期刊分区表》中，ENCECO荣列大类：环境科学与生态学 1区，Top期刊；小类：ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES 环境科学 1区；TOXICOLOGY 毒理学 1区。

Types of article

This section describes the articles types for this journal.

Research Article

A complete report on original research. A clear structure is required, including introduction, material and methods, results and discussion, conclusions generally.

Review Article

A substantial overviews present a complete overview of the state of the art with a comprehensive bibliography, generally, also contains a table of contents. It should cover topics that have seen significant development or progress in recent years, with comprehensive depth and a balanced perspective. Review articles should NOT include unpublished material such as unpublished/original data, submitted manuscripts, or personal communication.
