Manuscript Types

AAS

publishes original full-length research articles and shorter research

letters, comments and replies on articles published in AAS, data papers,

news & views (research highlights/ project progresses/ meeting

summaries), review papers, and perspectives/outlooks.

Submission

All submissions must be made online via our submission system: http://mc03.manuscriptcentral.com/aasiap.

Manuscript Preparation

Length:

The main text (excluding references) should not exceed 6000 words

(approximately 22 double-spaced pages in 12-point Times New Roman font).

Abstract: The abstract must be a single paragraph, limited to 250

words, and should not contain references.

Figures and Tables: Articles may contain up to 15 display items (figures and/or tables) in total.

File

Size: The total size of all uploaded manuscript files must be less than

30 MB. Please ensure your files meet this requirement to avoid

unnecessary delays during production.

Word

users: Note that the MathType equation editor is recommended for

display equations and variables in running text that cannot otherwise be

properly set using the standard keyboard.
