Systems Microbiology and Biomanufacturing(系统微生物学与生物制造，简称SMAB，ISSN：2662-7655) 是由江南大学与Springer Nature出版集团合作主办的英文期刊。2020年3月17日，SMAB投稿系统正式上线，现诚邀系统微生物学与生物制造领域的研究人员踊跃投稿！

期刊SMAB致力于为工业微生物与生物制造过程领域的新发现、新方法和新技术提供报道的平台，投稿范围包括但不限于：工业微生物学与发酵工程、合成生物学与代谢工程、工业酶学与生物催化、食品组学与食品生物制造、系统生物学与发酵过程优化控制等。稿件类型包括研究论文(Research article)、综述(Review)和快讯(Short communication)。江南大学副校长徐岩教授担任本刊主编，Bioresource Technology期刊主编Ashok Pandey教授担任期刊首席顾问。美国德克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校的Hal Alper教授、瑞典布罗斯大学的Mohammed Taherzadeh教授、巴西巴拉那联邦大学的 Carlos Ricardo Soccol和印度能源和环境可持续性中心的Reeta Rani Singhania博士担任本刊副主编。此外，来自韩国高等科学技术研究院(KAIST)的Sang Yup Lee教授、法国克莱蒙奥弗涅大学的Christian Larroche教授、美国伦斯勒理工学院的Mattheos Koffas教授等13个国家的22位国际知名专家学者担任期刊编委。期刊所有稿件都会根据稿件处理流程进行同行评议(第一轮评审时间为2-3周)，稿件录用后将及时在线发表。更多介绍请关注期刊网站。目前投稿系统已开放，请通过投稿系统进行稿件提交。

General

Systems Microbiology and Biomanufacturing (SMAB) aims at providing a platform for high-quality research in the interdisciplinary areas of industrial microbiology and biomanufacturing process development. It has an international authorship and a broad scope in the following topics: Food Microbiology and Biotechnology, Industrial Microbiology and Biotechnology, Metabolic Engineering and Synthetic Biology, Fermentation Engineering, and more. Detailed subjects are outlined in the journal’s Aims and Scope.

SMAB is served by a dedicated international editorial board to give thorough swift editorial response. Generally, the manuscript processing time from submitting to acceptance is within two months.

To facilitate the single-blind review process, please carefully follow the journal’s guidelines when preparing the manuscript. If any instructions are unclear, the author can contact the journal editor at: smab@jiangnan.edu.cn
