The lab led by Dr. Lili Zhang at Harvard Medical School/Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a wet bench Postdoctoral fellow for cardiovascular disease research.

The ideal candidate must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in the biological or medical area. Research experience in animal models of cardiovascular disease, stem cell biology, cell differentiation, epigenetic regulation of transcription or post-transcriptional regulation of RNA expression, endothelium biology, and fibrosis will be considered favorably. The candidate will conduct reserarch with both basic molecular biology methods (qPCR, cloning, immunoprecipitation, western blotting, flow cytometry) and cutting-edge high throughput sequencing techniques (ChIP-seq, RNA-seq, single cell multiomics, spatial transcriptomics).

Dr. Zhang is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and a faculty member in the Cardiology Department of Boston Children's Hospital. The lab is very well funded and also receives strong support of multiple brilliant collaborators to provide clinical samples, bioinformatics data analysis, etc. Both Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s Hospital offer a rich and dynamic research environment. The lab is located at the center of the Harvard Longwood Medical Area composed of many additional famous institutes such as the Massachusetts General Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Broad Institute and MIT.

Salary for the postdoc in the lab generally follows NIH guidelines: $60,000--$70,000
