If you choose to publish open access in this journal you may be asked to pay an Article Publishing Charge (APC). You may be able to publish your article at no cost to yourself or with a reduced APC if your institution or research funder has an open access agreement or membership with Taylor & Francis.

Publication Charges
There are no submission fees, publication fees or page charges for this journal.
Color figures will be reproduced in color in your online article free of charge. If it is necessary for the figures to be reproduced in color in the print version, a charge will apply.
Charges for color figures in print are £300 per figure ($400 US Dollars; $500 Australian Dollars; €350). For more than 4 color figures, figures 5 and above will be charged at £50 per figure ($75 US Dollars; $100 Australian Dollars; €65). Depending on your location, these charges may be subject to local taxes.

The journal emphasizes theory and research concerning person-context relationships across the life course, and the employment of a variety of quantitative and qualitative methods (e.g., multilevel, multivariate, longitudinal methods). As an interdisciplinary journal, RHD incorporates biological, psychological, sociological, anthropological, economic, and historical perspectives. The journal advances scholarship on the social and cultural contexts of human development in national and international settings. Moreover, it informs social policies and programs that promote positive and healthy development for all people. RHD is comprised of special issues, and all manuscripts are subject to a double-blind peer-reviewed process.
