BAPS members may pay a discounted APC of £350. This discount applies where the submitting author is first or last author on the paper, is a current member of the Belgian Association for Psychological Sciences (BAPS), and has been so for at least one year. (i.e. the author has paid a BAPS membership fee for the year during which the paper is submitted AND for the preceding year.) Otherwise you will be asked to pay the full APC (as listed in the table above) if your paper is accepted for publication.
The APC consists of a base APC of £550 which is retained by the publisher, and a society surcharge of £200 which helps maintain the society’s costs of publication. The base APC covers all publisher processing costs (editorial processes; platform development and maintenance; indexing; marketing; archiving; DOI registration etc) and ensures that all of the content is fully open access. This approach maximises the potential readership of publications and allows the journal to be run in a sustainable way. See the publisher's website for a breakdown of processing costs.
