All articles submitted on or after 10 February, 2025, are subject to an article publishing charge (APC) after peer review and acceptance.
As an open access journal with no subscription charges, a fee (Article Publishing Charge, APC) is payable by the authors, or their institution or funders, to cover the costs associated with publication. This ensures your article will be immediately and permanently free to access by everyone.
The Article Publishing Charge for this journal is: USD 1,800 (excl. taxes).
Discounts and waivers
SBP members are eligible for 83.33% discount on the article publishing charge.
Articles submitted by non-members affiliated to a Brazilian institution will get 66.67% discount on the article publishing charge. Manuscript submission remains free of charge.
