Explanation of Fees for Publication in Atmosphere-Ocean There are two types of publishing fees: compulsory and optional.
Compulsory fees: Page Charges are $100 per typeset page. This charge is for processing the manuscript. There will be no free printed reprints.All authors must pay this fee.
Optional fee: Authors can choose to make their papers Open Access via Taylor & Francis Open Select. This incurs a one-off fee of US$2995 per article. This is to make the article immediately available to read on the web by anybody.This fee is not collected by Atmosphere-Ocean but by our publisher, Taylor & Francis. If this fee is not paid, the article will be available to all subscribers and to any other person who pays a fee to read the article online. Also, all Atmosphere-Ocean articles become Open Access three years after publication without the payment of a fee.
