Annals transitioned to a fully gold open access journal on 1 January 2024.
An article processing charge (APC) as outlined below applies to all eligible manuscripts submitted from (and including) 1 January 2024 onwards. The APC is only payable at the point of acceptance for publication when an invoice will be sent to the lead author.
£850 for original research and review articles
£600 for case reports
£300 for technical papers
